Gnomeo and Juliet: You Heard It From Us First!


Some of you may know that tomorrow is the world premiere of Gnomeo and Juliet, but we saw a special sneak preview today... before anyone else. So.. here's the reviews!

The greatest love story of all time with a twist - garden gnomes. Two gnomes, Gnomeo and Juliet, try to find their happy ending whilst in a fight between neighbors.

Preschoolers: "Two giant thumbs up! My favorite characters were Gnomeo and Juliet. My favorite part was when they (Gnomeo and Juliet) were fighting over the giant blue flower."

Elementary School Kids: "Funny!!!!!! 2 thumbs up! I am happy I didn't miss my chance to be one of the first people to see it! My favorite character is Featherstone. Y'all don't know who he is yet, but as soon as you see the movie, you'll love him! Overall, GREAT MOVIE!! 8-)"

Middle School Kids: "Gnomeo and Juliet was a hilarious movie! I liked how it showed two gnomes wanting to make a difference. My favorite character was.. hmm.. I think each character had their spotlight moments. An amazing movie.. two thumbs up!"

Adults: "A clever idea but just an ok movie. It did not have the clever dialogue, funny characters, or action-packed scenes like most of the good kid movies I've seen recently. I give it two sideways thumbs."

Tangled


Walt Disney Pictures presents Tangled, a movie about a teenage girl with 70 feet of hair who meets a man on the run, who will finally give her a chance to see the outside world.

Preschoolers: "Two thumbs up! My favorite characters were Flynn (aka Eugene) and Rapunzel. My favorite part was when Rapunzel kept hitting Flynn in the head with the frying pan."

Elementary School Kids: "Tangled was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! My favorite part was when Flynn took Rapunzel to see the lanterns. My favorite character was Rapunzel and I think the things she does in her castle sound really fun! Two thumbs up!!!!"

Middle School Kids: "Tangled was a great movie! I liked how it showed one girl having to break free from what she has always known and escape to see the outside world. My favorite characters were Rapunzel and her chameleon. They were a very good duo. Overall, it was an excellent movie... another two thumbs up!

Adults: "I was skeptical going in but quickly realized this was going to be a fun movie to watch. It had good action scenes and the story kept my interest. Some of the best scenes were the ones in "The Cuddly Duckling", very funny. Two thumbs up."
